Clozapine Induced Excessive Checking

A test for the hypothesis of two phases in the development of excessive checking after taking clozapine. We used a large cohort (~150) who were seen at least twice, more likely 3-5 times, and assessed with the OCI-R. The hypothesis holds: psychosis drives the compulsion (phase 1), but when psychosis is under control, compulsion is linked to clozapine plasma levels (phase 2).
