Clinical work

We don’t offer direct clinical care. The clinician (PI Fernandez-Egea) is a consultant psychiatrist at the local NHS trust, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust

For almost fifteen years, has led the Clozapine Clinic, for people living in Cambridge and Huntingdon diagnosed with treatment resistant schizophrenia and prescribed with Clozapine.

More recently, we have open a second opinion unit for people with schizophrenia or psychosis. This is not a self-referral unit and all potential patients should be referred by their care team. The PI (Fernandez-Egea) also works privately as general adult psychiatrist at Cambridge Psychiatry.
